Helpful securely stores in its own system employee directory information such as employee names, pictures, titles, and contact information. Helpful video, image, and text updates can be shared via a URL as described in the application itself. They can be saved and forwarded, like emails.
Helpful connects with services on mobile devices, including other apps, as described and authorized in the application itself.
Helpful does all of the above for the purpose of providing Helpful’s service to you and your company.
Helpful is a directory, which means it requires some personal information to work for you.

In general, you can visit our website without telling us who you are or submitting any personal information. We collect the Internet Protocol (“IP”) addresses of visitors to our website and other information about your visit, such as page requests, browser type, operating system and average time spent on our website. We use this information to help us understand the use of our website, and to monitor and improve it.
Helpful uses standard analytics on its website to understand how it’s used.
Helpful places tailored ads on third party websites, such as LinkedIn. You can opt-out. We also use the Apple IDFA and Google Advertising ID.
From time to time, we may obtain consent from you or your company to send you email and other communications about our products and services that may be of interest to you. You can opt-out of receiving our promotional messages by doing one of the following:

We may also disclose personal information where necessary for the establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims, or as otherwise permitted by law.
Cookies: Our website uses a technology called “cookies”. A cookie is a small element of data that our website sends to your browser. Cookies are stored by your browser on your hard drive so that the website that create it can recognize your computer or other device when you return. Children: Our Services are not intended for children under 13 and we do not intend to collect personal information from children under the age of 13.
Helpful hosts data on some third party databases, for example Amazon’s, Google’s, and Apple’s.
Helpful may have to transfer data to a different legal entity if it is acquired, merged, or goes bankrupt.
A request by a lawful authority could require us to provide some personal information. We’ll tell you if this happens.

Helpful isn’t for kids.
We have implemented measures designed to help protect personal information in our custody and control. We maintain administrative, technical and physical safeguards in an effort to protect against unauthorized access, use, modification and disclosure of personal information in our custody and control. We have personal information retention processes designed to retain personal information of our customers for no longer than necessary for the purposes stated above or to otherwise meet legal requirements.
Helpful encrypts all of its databases that store confidential information. We run ongoing penetration testing of our systems. We have physical, technical, and administrative security measures in place.
You have the right to access, update, and correct inaccuracies in your personal information in our custody and control, subject to certain exceptions prescribed by law. You may request access, updating and corrections of inaccuracies in personal information we have in our custody or control by emailing or writing to us at the contact information set out below. We may request certain personal information for the purposes of verifying the identity of the individual seeking access to their personal information records.
