Romantic Vacations in Paris

There are so many things to see and do when in Paris and so many possible places to stay that it can sometimes be hard to know where to start. What you do and where you stay will, of course, be dependent on you budget and once you have settled on how much you are willing to spend on your vacation you can then start thinking about accommodation and itineraries.

Where to Stay
There are many places to stay when you take a vacation in Paris. Hotels are available in every part of Paris. Some are near the famous sights such as the Eiffel Tower and Notre Dame and others are on the outskirts of the city. There are budget hotels and luxury accommodations. Paris also hosts a variety of charming Bed and Breakfasts. For those who are more independent, there are also apartments available to rent, both for short and long duration stays.

What to See and Do
Paris has so many famous sights and attractions! There is the Eiffel Tower, of course, the iconic symbol of Paris and perhaps the most romantic place in the world for a kiss. Then there is the Louvre, which no one on a vacation in Paris should miss. This incredible museum contains the masterpieces of Leonardo da Vinci, among various other world acclaimed artists.

Another wonderful spot to visit is the famed Notre Dame cathedral. The breathtakingly beautiful cathedral is almost a thousand years old. It also has a stunning (and romantic) view of the city. The surrounding neighborhood, Ile Saint Louis, is filled with good restaurants and boutique shops.

If you are on vacation in Paris and have romance on your mind, there are other places to go aside from the Eiffel Tower. The Arc de Triomphe is beautiful and romantic, and has incredible views of the city. Also, who could resist a romantic boat ride down the Seine River?
