The sudden rush of acceleration and turn of speed are what make riding a motorbike so much fun. However, these same fun features can cause many people to become paralysed with fear, especially if they are a passenger on a bike. It can be daunting at first with your legs dangling in the open and with nothing to protect your face from the wind and the elements.   • Try to control your breathing and loosen up your body shape. Again you will have to start slowly to bring yourself to a level where you can achieve this on the open road. Practice when the bike is stationary or parked. You may feel like a fool sitting on a parked bike but it is a good way to overcome fear while on the back of a motorbike. Finally, after some experience on the bike, try to look forward to the ride and enjoy it, as opposed to dreading it. Otherwise you will find it difficult to get over that fear.
