Effective Bodybuilding Diets For Women

As many bodybuilders are aware, in order to gain mass it is important to consume a diet which is protein packed and contains moderate carbohydrates, fats and sufficient quantities of vitamins and minerals.

Unfortunately, many of the foods required for an effective body diet for women can be rather bland by themselves. Therefore, bodybuilding diets for women may be more palatable when these ingredients are cooked creatively and combined with ingredients that will enhance their taste. It is recommended that a bodybuilder should consume no less than six meals per day and as a guide, women should include 2g of protein, per pound of body weight.

 

Tasty Chicken, Vegetables And Rice

  • Easily prepared, this dish incorporates all the nutrients and proteins needed for bodybuilding diets for women.

2oz cooked skinless chicken breast.
1/2 cup of brown rice.
1tbsp soy sauce.
1 clove garlic, chopped.
Raw mixed vegetables (red and green pepper, onion, spinach) chopped.

  • Steam the vegetables until tender. Place the cooked vegetables into a medium-sized pan and add the cooked rice, soy sauce and garlic. Heat gently for approximately 5 to 10 minutes or until warmed through. Can be served with wholemeal bread.

 

Easy Tuna Quiche

  • Another recipe which can be included in bodybuilding diets for women. The canned tuna can be replaced by white fish fillet or cooked prawns, if preferred.

1/2 cup brown rice.
1 1/2 cups of water.
3 eggs.
2 cans of tuna.
1 medium onion.
1/2 cup of red pepper.
1/2 cup of low-fat cheddar cheese, grated.
1 cup of skimmed milk.
Pinch of paprika.

  • Boil the rice until cooked. Then, beat the cooked rice with one egg. Spoon the mixture into a medium-sized pie dish and pack the mixture down on the base and the sides, as this will form the crust. Combine the vegetables with the remaining eggs, milk, cheese and paprika. Pour into the pie dish. Bake in a preheated oven at 300°F for 15 minutes. After 15 minutes, reduce the heat to 200°F and bake until the quiche is firm and golden.
